Pomo ("we", "our", or "the app") is a Pomodoro productivity timer for Android and iOS. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following data to improve app quality and stability:
- Crash reports — automatically collected via Firebase Crashlytics when the app crashes. Includes device model, OS version, and a stack trace. No personally identifiable information is included.
- Analytics events — collected via Firebase Analytics. Includes anonymised usage events such as screen views, timer starts, and feature interactions. No personal data (name, email, location) is collected.
2. Information We Do NOT Collect
- Your name, email address, or any account information
- Location data
- Contacts or device identifiers beyond what Firebase assigns anonymously
- The content of your tasks or notes
- Local audio files you import into the app
3. Data Stored on Your Device
All app data — including your tasks, timer settings, statistics, and imported local music — is stored locally on your device only. We do not upload or sync this data to any server.
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Firebase Analytics (Google) — anonymised usage analytics. Firebase Privacy Policy

- Internet Radio Streams — when you play a radio station, your device connects directly to the stream provider. We do not log or intercept these connections.
5. Permissions
- Internet — required for radio streaming.
- Notifications — used to alert you when a Pomodoro or break completes.
- Do Not Disturb access (Android) — optional; used to silence notifications during work sessions if you enable it.
- Storage / Files — optional; used only when you import local audio files. Files are read locally and not uploaded.
6. Children's Privacy
Pomo is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
